Imagine a church family...

We are not an organization a club or a corporation. We are a family.  

Parents and children, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, working together, encouraging one another, serving our neighbors and enjoying life in our Father’s World…

as unified as heaven…

Nobody deserves heaven. We can’t earn it, achieve it or buy it. It is a gift, bought for us by Jesus. We can only have it if we will receive it as a gift. If we humble ourselves and receive this gift, we are equals in his family--brothers and sisters of our Father in heaven.
 

as diverse as Jersey City...

We serve in the most diverse city in America. Jersey City has  a wide variety of cultures and ethnic groups, and a deep disparity of income and opportunity. Our church enthusiastically includes everyone. Being diverse is not easy, but it is essential. The Gospel does not eliminate our differences, it redeems them and harmonizes them for the glory of God.

for the whole city.

Jesus calls us to love our neighbors. All. Of. Them.  

This is the mark of his children and our mission as a church. Jesus inspires us to pay attention to those who are ignored, to feel compassion for those who are hurting, and to inconvenience ourselves for those who need help.  

But most importantly, we invite all our neighbors to experience the welcome of our Heavenly Father with our extended family, Redeemer Church in Jersey City.
